By using this website and placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
1. About us
Dreamy Cake Shop sells cookie cutters, cookie stamps, embossers, personalised stamps, cake toppers, custom 3D printed items, baking accessories, cake decorating products and related items.
Many of our products are made to order, personalised, 3D printed, handmade or intended for use with food or food preparation.
2. Product information
We make every reasonable effort to describe and display our products accurately. However, product photos, colours, sizes and finishes may vary slightly depending on your screen settings, material availability, production method and the handmade or 3D printed nature of the item.
For 3D printed and handmade products, small layer lines, minor surface texture, slight colour differences and small cosmetic variations may occur. These are normal characteristics of the production process and are not considered faults unless the item is unusable, unsafe for its intended purpose or materially different from the product description.
3. Food-contact products and safe use
Some of our products are intended for use with food or food preparation, such as cookie cutters, stamps, embossers, fondant tools and baking accessories.
Customers are responsible for using, cleaning and storing products safely and appropriately. Unless otherwise stated, products should not be exposed to high heat, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, open flames or harsh cleaning chemicals.
Products are not toys and should not be used by children without adult supervision.
4. Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. Your order is accepted when we confirm it or begin processing it.
Please check all order details carefully before placing your order, including product options, sizes, colours, personalisation text, names, dates, uploaded files, shipping address and delivery method.
We may contact you if we need to clarify details of your order. If we cannot obtain the required information, we may be unable to complete the order.
5. Personalised and custom orders
For personalised, custom-made or made-to-order products, we produce the item using the information supplied by you.
You are responsible for ensuring that all spelling, names, dates, text, logos, artwork, sizes and design choices are correct before placing your order.
If you notice an error after ordering, contact us immediately at shop@dreamycake.co.uk. We will do our best to help, but we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once production has started.
6. Cancellations
If your order includes personalised, custom-made or made-to-order products, cancellation may not be possible once production has started.
If your order has already been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
For standard products that are not personalised, not made to order and not hygiene-sensitive, you may contact us to request cancellation where cancellation rights apply.
We reserve the right to cancel an order and issue a refund if we are unable to fulfil it, if the product is unavailable, if there is an error in pricing or product information, if required information is missing, or if we reasonably believe the order cannot be processed safely or lawfully.
7. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Payment is processed through the payment methods available at checkout, including Stripe-supported payment options where available.
You must provide accurate billing and payment information. Orders may be delayed or cancelled if payment cannot be authorised.
8. Shipping and delivery
We aim to dispatch most orders within 1–2 working days unless otherwise stated on the product page or during busy periods.
Delivery times are estimates unless a guaranteed delivery service has been selected and confirmed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, couriers, customs, incorrect addresses, local delivery issues, weather, strikes or other circumstances outside our control.
If you need an item for a specific event or date, please order in good time and choose an appropriate delivery method.
9. International orders
We may ship selected products internationally.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, taxes, handling charges or other local fees that may apply in their country.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs checks, import processing or local postal services.
If an international parcel is returned to us because of unpaid customs charges, refusal of delivery, incorrect address or failure to collect, we may deduct original shipping costs, return shipping costs and related fees from any refund where permitted by law.
10. Returns and refunds
Returns, refunds and replacements are handled in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy.
Because many of our products are personalised, custom-made, made to order and/or intended for food-contact use, some items cannot be returned unless they are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
11. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at shop@dreamycake.co.uk.
Please include your order number, a clear description of the issue and photos of the product, packaging and any damage or defect.
Where an issue is confirmed, we may offer a replacement, repair, remake, partial refund or full refund depending on the circumstances.
12. Lost parcels
If your parcel appears to be lost, please contact us with your order number.
We may need to wait until the delivery provider considers the parcel lost before offering a replacement or refund. The timeframe may depend on the delivery provider, delivery service and destination country.
If a parcel is confirmed as lost, we will work with you to resolve the issue.
13. Customer content, artwork and uploaded files
If you provide names, text, logos, artwork, images or other files for a personalised or custom product, you confirm that you have the right to use them and to provide them to us for production.
You are responsible for ensuring that supplied content does not infringe another person’s intellectual property rights, privacy rights or other legal rights.
We may refuse or cancel an order if supplied content is offensive, unlawful, inappropriate, technically unsuitable or cannot reasonably be produced.
14. Intellectual property
All website content, product photos, designs, text, graphics, logos and other materials are owned by Dreamy Cake Studio Ltd or used with permission, unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or use our content or designs for commercial purposes without our written permission.
15. Discounts, promotions and gift cards
Discounts, promotions, coupon codes and special offers may be subject to additional terms, expiry dates or exclusions.
We may change or withdraw promotions at any time, but this will not affect orders already accepted.
Only one discount code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.
16. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses caused by misuse of products, incorrect storage, improper cleaning, heat damage, accidental damage, use outside the product’s intended purpose, customer-supplied errors, delays outside our control or failure to follow product care instructions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
17. Privacy and data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may share necessary order information with trusted third-party providers, including payment processors, shipping providers, website service providers and other partners required to process your order.
Marketing emails will only be sent where permitted by law and you can unsubscribe where applicable.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
The Terms that apply to your order are the Terms published on our website at the time you placed your order.
19. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue fairly.
Nothing in this section affects any consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
